CM Short Handle Puller lever hoists are compact, manually operated chain hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, stretching, and positioning loads in industrial applications. The product family combines the heavy-duty construction of the full-size CM Puller with a shorter operating handle for lighter-capacity work and applications where surrounding equipment or structural obstructions restrict movement. The listed configurations cover 3/4, 1-1/2, and 3 Ton capacities with 5, 10, and 20 ft Lift options, along with less-chain models for customized chain lengths.

The 360-degree rotating handle allows the operator to work from multiple positions and reduces the operating clearance required in confined areas. One-handed controls support rapid changes in chain-travel direction, while the free-chaining function permits unloaded chain to be pulled through the hoist for faster lower-hook positioning. A sealed automatic brake with two holding pawls provides controlled load handling and accurate positioning during lifting or lowering.

The 3/4 Ton models use a 12 in lever, require approximately 45 lb of pull at rated load, and use single-strand reeving. The 1-1/2 Ton models use a 16-3/4 in lever, require approximately 55 lb of pull, and also use single-strand reeving. The 3 Ton models use a 16-3/4 in lever, require approximately 62 lb of pull, and use two-strand reeving. Lightweight aluminum construction and a powder-coated finish improve portability and exterior protection, while Hoistaloy hardened steel load chain and forged hooks with latches support demanding lifting and pulling service.
