Product Description
Budgit hook-suspension plain push trolleys provide manually controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists and suspended loads along overhead runway beams. The listed configurations cover capacities from 1/4 to 2 Metric Ton and include standard, heavy-duty, and spark-resistant models. Hook suspension allows a properly rated hook-mounted hoist to be installed beneath the trolley, providing a versatile beam-travel arrangement for maintenance, production, fabrication, assembly, and material-handling applications.
Horizontal movement is produced by manually pushing or pulling the suspended hoist and load. This straightforward operating method eliminates the need for an electric traverse motor, pneumatic drive, pendant controls, or trolley hand chain. Standard configurations use pressed steel wheels, while the designated spark-resistant models incorporate specialized wheel and component arrangements intended to reduce spark potential during trolley travel. Heavy-duty models provide an additional option for demanding industrial service.
The 1/4 and 1/2 Metric Ton configurations are designed around a 4 in beam height, 30 in minimum-radius curve, and 3-1/8 in wheel-tread diameter. The 1 Metric Ton models use a 5 in beam height, 36 in minimum-radius curve, and 4 in wheel-tread diameter. The 1-1/2 and 2 Metric Ton models use a 6 in beam height, 48 in minimum-radius curve, and 4-15/16 in wheel-tread diameter. Available beam-flange ranges extend from 2-5/8 to 10 in depending on the selected capacity and model.
