Product Description
Budgit heavy-duty push rigid-mount spark-resistant trolleys provide manually controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists and suspended loads on overhead runway beams. The listed configurations include 3/4, 5/6, 1, and 2 Ton capacities with model-specific beam-flange ranges. Their heavy-duty construction is intended for demanding industrial lifting systems where powered or hand-geared trolley travel is unnecessary.
The rigid-mount suspension connects a compatible hoist directly to the trolley assembly rather than using an intermediate suspension hook. This compact arrangement helps conserve available lifting height and provides a stable hoist-to-trolley connection for production, maintenance, fabrication, processing, and equipment-installation applications. Each trolley must be matched to the hoist capacity, rigid mounting interface, runway dimensions, and required wheel clearances.
Horizontal movement is produced by manually pushing or pulling the suspended hoist and load. The 1 Ton model fits beam flanges from 3 to 5 in, the 2 Ton model fits flanges from 3-5/8 to 6 in, and the 3/4 and 5/6 Ton models fit flanges from 4 to 6-1/4 in. Designated spark-resistant components help reduce the potential for mechanically generated sparks during trolley travel.
