Product Description

Budgit standard hand-geared trolleys provide manually controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists and suspended loads. The listed configurations include 1, 2, and 5/6 Ton capacities with beam-flange ranges selected according to the trolley size. These units are intended for industrial applications where precise beam travel is required without using an electric or pneumatic traverse motor.

The operator pulls the trolley hand chain to turn the internal gearing and drive the trolley wheels along the runway. This arrangement reduces the manual effort associated with moving a suspended load and provides more consistent positioning than a plain push trolley. It is particularly useful for longer travel distances, heavier loads, and work areas where direct access to the suspended load is limited.

The 1 Ton configuration fits beam flanges from 3 to 5 in. The 2 Ton configuration fits beam flanges from 3-5/8 to 6 in, while the 5/6 Ton configuration fits flanges from 4 to 6-1/4 in. Each model must be selected for the exact hoist capacity, suspension connection, beam dimensions, and required operating clearance.
