Budgit manual plain push trolleys provide horizontal travel for compatible suspended hoists operating along overhead runway beams. The listed configurations cover load capacities from 500 to 4,000 lb, including a combination trolley for 500 to 1,000 lb applications and two separate 2,000 lb configurations. Manual push operation makes these trolleys suitable for industrial maintenance, fabrication, assembly, production, equipment installation, and general material-handling systems where powered or hand-geared trolley travel is unnecessary.

Horizontal movement is produced by manually pushing or pulling the suspended hoist and load. This straightforward arrangement eliminates the need for an electric traverse motor, pneumatic drive, pendant controls, or a trolley hand chain. The trolley must be selected according to the hoist capacity, suspension arrangement, beam flange width, beam height, required wheel clearance, and minimum curve radius of the runway system.

The 500 to 1,000 lb model fits beam flanges from 2-5/8 to 4-5/8 in, accommodates a 4 in beam height, and can negotiate a 30 in minimum-radius curve. The specified 2,000 lb model fits beam flanges from 5-1/4 to 7-3/8 in, accommodates a 5 in beam height, and has a 42 in minimum-radius curve. The 4,000 lb model fits beam flanges from 3-3/8 to 6 in, accommodates a 6 in beam height, and requires a 60 in minimum-radius curve. Steel wheels are confirmed for these dimensioned configurations.
