Product Description

The Budgit Series 6000 Air Chain Hoist is designed for pneumatic lifting and controlled load handling in industrial environments. These standard 3 Ton models feature triple reeving and a 10 ft lifting height. The available configurations include hook or lug suspension with either a 4 FPM slow lifting speed or a 10 FPM fast lifting speed, allowing the hoist configuration to be matched to the required balance of positioning control and material-handling speed.

A multi-vane rotary air motor provides high starting torque, smooth acceleration and responsive control. The pendant throttle control allows the operator to vary the lifting and lowering speed through the position of the control lever, supporting accurate load spotting. The Series 6000 also incorporates an internal muffler, a mechanical load brake, heat-treated gearing, upper and lower travel-limit stops and overload protection to support dependable operation.

Hook-suspension models provide a portable mounting arrangement that allows the hoist to be moved between suitable supporting locations and have a 24-7/8 in minimum distance between hooks. Lug-suspension models provide a rigid mounting connection for attachment to a suitable overhead structure or compatible Budgit rigid-mount trolley. The recommended operating pressure is 90 PSI, with approximately 70 SCFM required by slow-speed models and 80 SCFM by fast-speed models at full rated load and full speed.
