The Budgit Series 6000 Air Chain Hoist is a pneumatic lifting solution designed for continuous-duty industrial service and controlled handling of loads up to 0.5 Ton. These single-reeved, spark-resistant models provide a 10 ft lifting height and a rated lifting speed of 16 FPM, making them suitable for applications requiring smooth movement and accurate load positioning. The hoists operate at a recommended air pressure of 90 PSI and require approximately 70 SCFM at full load and full speed.

An eight-vane air motor provides high starting torque, smooth acceleration, and responsive control throughout the lifting and lowering cycle. The pendant throttle control allows the operator to regulate movement from a convenient working position, while the infinitely variable operating speed supports precise spotting of suspended loads. An internal muffler helps reduce operating noise, and an integrated overload-protection system helps protect the hoist against excessive loading.

These models are available with either hook or lug suspension. Hook suspension provides portability and allows the hoist to be moved between suitable supporting locations, while lug suspension creates a more rigid connection to an overhead structure or compatible trolley arrangement. The hook-suspension model has a minimum distance of 16-1/2 in between hooks. Upper and lower limit stops help prevent excessive chain travel, while the compact gear-reduction system supports dependable industrial operation.
