Product Description

The CM AirStar 6 Air Chain Hoist is a compact pneumatic hoist designed for industrial lifting and controlled material handling. This model has a 2 Ton rated capacity and a 6 FPM lifting speed. Variable-speed air power supports smooth operation and accurate positioning in applications where pneumatic equipment is preferred.

The AirStar 6 product family uses an eight-vane rotary air motor to provide high starting torque and smooth acceleration. A positive-action Weston-type load brake holds the suspended load and supports precise spotting, while precision-cut, heat-treated helical and spur gears provide efficient power transmission.

Additional product-family features include a full-flow pendant throttle, an overload-protection device, an internal muffler and precision throttle valves that regulate airflow for controlled movement. AirStar 6 hoists are available with hook or lug suspension and may be configured with standard Hoistaloy load chain or stainless steel chain for spark-resistant service.
