Product Description

CM Bandit ratchet lever hoists are compact, manually operated hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, and positioning loads. The listed configurations cover 3/4, 1-1/2, 3, and 6 Ton capacities, with confirmed lifting heights from 5 to 20 ft. Their portable design allows them to be transported between work areas and operated in confined spaces where clearance for a conventional fixed-position lever may be limited.

An impact-resistant stamped steel housing protects the internal gearing, brake, and operating components during demanding use. Double-reduction gearing reduces the manual effort needed to move a rated load, while the comfort-fit handle has a secured rubber grip and rotates through 360 degrees for operation from multiple positions. The free-chaining function permits quick take-up and positioning of unloaded slack chain and is designed to resist accidental free chaining while the hoist is supporting a load.

The enclosed Weston-type load brake remains protected from dirt and moisture while providing positive load holding and controlled positioning. Upper and lower swivel hooks have extra-wide throat openings and cast safety latches for easier connection and secure engagement of properly seated rigging. The load-limiter-equipped configurations allow the operating handle to rotate without lifting an overload sufficient to damage the hoist, and the black handwheel provides quick visual identification of the load-limiter option. The listed chromate-chain configurations use load-tested chain with a corrosion-resistant protective finish.
