Product Description

The Budgit BEHC Electric Chain Hoist is designed for demanding industrial lifting and repeated material-handling cycles. The models shown range from 0.25 Ton to 3 Ton capacities, with lifting heights from 10 to 30 ft and lifting speeds from 4 to 64 FPM. Pushbutton control allows the operator to raise and lower suspended loads from a convenient working position, while the range of capacities and speeds supports applications requiring either controlled positioning or faster load movement.

The hoist uses a lightweight, rugged aluminum alloy frame and gearcase cover that maintain accurate alignment of the internal gearing and bearings. A high-strength, low-alloy welded load chain raises and lowers the load, while a full-floating chain guide helps maintain proper engagement between the chain and load sprocket. The lower hook rotates through 360° on thrust bearings and includes a spring-loaded latch for secure load attachment.

BEHC hoists feature totally enclosed, oil-bath-lubricated gearing and a heavy-duty AC spring-set disc motor brake for positive stopping and load holding. Adjustable upper and lower electronic limit controls restrict hook travel, while MAN-GUARD overload protection helps prevent the hoist from lifting excessive loads. The weather-resistant NEMA 4X pushbutton station is contoured for comfortable one-handed operation and includes strain relief to reduce stress on the control cable.
