Product Description:
The Coffing SLC Electric Chain Hoist is a compact, job-proven lifting unit designed for commercial shops, garages, workstations and industrial material-handling applications. These single-reeved models are available in 250 lb, 300 lb and 500 lb capacities with a 10 ft Lift, one-speed control and lifting speeds ranging from 12 to 40 FPM. The listed configurations use 1/6 hp motors with 115, 230 or 460 VAC power options.

The lightweight die-cast aluminum frame and covers provide rugged protection while maintaining a compact and portable design. A hardened alloy steel oblique-lay liftwheel helps maintain consistent chain speed and reduce wear on the Hoistaloy load chain. Grease-lubricated hardened spur gears and bearings at all rotating points promote smooth, quiet and dependable operation.

The SLC incorporates a DC disc-type motor brake, thermally protected hoist-duty motor and Protector overload device for controlled lifting and protection against dangerous overloads. A rugged NEMA 4 control station supports use in demanding environments. The SLC is rated for H4 service with up to 300 motor starts per hour, while the 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel and lifetime-lubricated gear train help reduce maintenance and extend service life.
