Product Description

The Coffing ECGT Electric Chain Hoist combines a small-frame electric chain hoist with a parallel-mounted geared trolley for powered vertical lifting and precise manual horizontal positioning. The products shown range from 0.25 Ton to 3 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift configurations and lifting speeds from 4 to 64 FPM. All listed models use one-speed hoist control, while the geared trolley is operated by a separate hand chain.

The small-frame EC design uses cast aluminum alloy housings to minimize weight and is engineered for motors up to 1 hp. Heat-treated alloy steel gearing operates in an oil bath for dependable lubrication and heat dissipation. Independent motor and mechanical load brakes provide controlled stopping and load holding, while an overload-limiting clutch helps protect the lifting mechanism against excessive loading.

The geared trolley provides more precise beam travel than a manually pushed plain trolley, making it suitable for controlled positioning of suspended machinery, assemblies and production materials. Machined cast iron trolley wheels rotate on sealed, lifetime-lubricated ball bearings, while wrap-around side plates act as safety lugs and help protect the wheels. Small-frame models use a four-wheel trolley design capable of negotiating compatible curved tracks.
