Product Description

Coffing air motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible air chain hoists operating along overhead runway beams. The listed configurations include a 1 Ton trolley with a 50 FPM travel speed and 2 and 3 Ton trolleys with 60 FPM travel speeds. These pneumatic trolleys are designed for industrial facilities where compressed-air operation is preferred or where an electrically powered trolley is not suitable for the application.

The air motor delivers responsive starting torque and smooth trolley movement for controlled load positioning. Pendant-operated controls allow the operator to move the suspended hoist and load in either travel direction from floor level. The 1 Ton model fits beam flanges from 3 to 5 in and has a 36 in minimum-radius curve. The 2 Ton model fits beam flanges from 3-5/8 to 6 in, while the 3 Ton model fits beam flanges from 4 to 6-1/4 in. Both higher-capacity models have a 48 in minimum-radius curve.

Steel side plates provide a durable trolley structure and extend beyond the wheels to create contact surfaces for runway end stops. Forged, heat-treated dual-tread steel wheels support travel on compatible beam profiles, while sealed, permanently lubricated precision ball bearings promote smooth movement and reduce routine maintenance. The side frames also include mounting locations for compatible accessories such as festooning arms and safety lugs.
