The Yale KALB Air Chain Hoist is a pneumatic lifting unit designed for industrial material handling and controlled load positioning. This model has a 2 Ton rated capacity, 30 ft Lift and pendant control, allowing the operator to manage lifting and lowering from a convenient working position.

Yale KAL-family air hoists use a compact chain-type lifting design intended for heavy service and repeated lifting cycles. The pendant lever control regulates airflow for smooth operation and accurate load positioning, while the multi-vane rotary air motor provides positive starting, high torque and responsive movement.

The documented KAL-family construction incorporates an automatic mechanical load brake for secure load holding, an overload clutch to help guard against excessive loading and chain-mounted limit actuators that restrict upper and lower hook travel. The 2 Ton standard configuration uses a double-reeved alloy steel load chain to support its rated lifting capacity.
