The Nova Chain Block is a manually operated chain hoist designed for vertical lifting and load positioning in industrial, construction, and maintenance applications. Built to a working load limit of 1/2 Ton with a 20 ft lift height, this unit is suited for lifting tasks where electric hoists are impractical or unavailable, including remote locations, confined spaces, and environments where power sources are not accessible. The hand chain drive allows the operator to raise and lower loads with controlled, precise movement, and the load chain suspends the load securely at any point within the lift range.

This chain block is equipped with an Overload Protection (OLP) mechanism, which prevents the hoist from being operated beyond its rated working load limit. The OLP feature disengages the drive mechanism when the applied load exceeds the rated capacity, protecting both the hoist and the load from damage caused by overloading and reducing the risk of catastrophic failure in the lifting system.
