Description du produit

The Peakworks Full-Body Harness is a universal-fit harness constructed with Kevlar® webbing, featuring a 5-point adjustment system designed for work-at-height applications in environments where flame, heat, or arc flash exposure makes standard polyester or nylon webbing unsuitable. Kevlar® aramid fiber webbing provides exceptional resistance to flame, heat, and arc flash, maintaining structural integrity under thermal exposure conditions that would cause rapid degradation of conventional synthetic webbing materials. This makes the Kevlar® harness the appropriate choice for workers in welding, hot work, electrical utility, and other applications where the harness may be exposed to sparks, molten metal spatter, open flame, or arc flash events during normal work operations.

The 5-point adjustment system allows the harness to be sized and fitted at five key adjustment points across the shoulder, chest, and leg strap connections, providing a highly customizable fit that accommodates a broad range of worker body sizes within the universal sizing range. Universal sizing combined with 5-point adjustment makes this harness suitable for a wide range of workers without requiring size-specific stocking, while the five independent adjustment points allow the harness to be correctly fitted to workers with varying body proportions. Correct harness fit is essential to fall arrest performance regardless of webbing material — the harness must be adjusted snugly at all points with the dorsal D-ring centered between the shoulder blades before work begins.

This harness must be used as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with compatible connecting subsystems and anchor points rated for applicable loads. In thermal or arc flash environments, all system components including lanyards, connectors, and anchor slings should be evaluated for suitability in the specific hazard environment. Inspect the harness before each use for webbing wear, fraying, cuts, heat or arc flash damage, discoloration, buckle and hardware defects, and stitching integrity. Remove from service immediately if any thermal damage, arc flash exposure, or fall arrest event is detected.

Material: Kevlar® aramid fiber webbing Hardware (verify specific buckle and hardware material with Peakworks product documentation)

Compatible With: Compatible shock-absorbing lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and connecting subsystems suitable for the work environment Fall arrest anchor points rated for applicable loads

Uses: Full-body harness for personal fall arrest systems in flame, heat, and arc flash exposure environments Welding, hot work, and electrical utility work-at-height applications Applications where Kevlar® webbing is required due to thermal or arc flash hazard exposure Worksites requiring a universal-fit harness with precise 5-point adjustment for workers in high-heat environments

Key Features: Universal sizing for a wide range of worker body sizes Kevlar® aramid fiber webbing for flame, heat, and arc flash resistance 5-point adjustment system for precise, customizable fit across shoulder, chest, and leg strap connections Dorsal D-ring fall arrest attachment point Suitable for hot work and arc flash exposure environments where standard synthetic webbing is not appropriate

Note: Inspect the harness carefully before each use for any signs of heat damage, arc flash exposure, charring, discoloration, or webbing degradation — thermal damage may not always be visually obvious and any suspected exposure to flame, arc flash, or excessive heat is grounds for immediate removal from service. All connecting subsystems used with this harness in thermal or arc flash environments should be evaluated for suitability in those conditions. A harness that has been subjected to fall arrest forces must be removed from service immediately and must not be reused. Inspect before every use and retire from service if any damage, defect, or fall arrest event is detected.
