The Peakworks Type 3 Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) is a 60-foot fall arrest device constructed with a Dyneema line and aluminum hardware, designed for workers in construction, industrial, and maintenance environments where fall protection over extended working distances is required. Dyneema is an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibre known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, low stretch characteristics, and resistance to moisture, UV, and chemical degradation. The use of Dyneema line in place of wire rope or standard webbing results in a significantly lighter SRL that maintains high tensile strength and durability, reducing worker fatigue during extended use at height.
